Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with strong workshop experience, for one of the UK's leading automotive retail groups, working within a professional franchised dealership environment.

Job Details
- Location: Yeovil
- Pay / Salary: Up to £46,790 basic with bonus and overtime opportunities available. OTE £52,000 +
- Job Type: Permanent / full-time role
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, No weekends

Vehicle Technician Role
- Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repair work accurately to manufacturer, franchise and health and safety standards.
- Use diagnostic equipment and technical processes to identify faults and complete effective repairs across routine and more complex work.
- Carry out electronic vehicle health checks and report findings clearly to support customer decisions and workshop efficiency.
- Complete service records, digital checklists and repair documentation in line with company and manufacturer procedures.
- Handle, fit and store parts, components, lubricants and consumables correctly and safely.
- Work professionally with Service Advisors, workshop control and colleagues to deliver high-quality workmanship, first-time fixes and a positive customer experience.

Vehicle Technician Requirements
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, depending on experience level
- Current practical experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership, franchise or independent workshop environment
- MOT licence and manufacturer accreditation would be advantageous but are not essential
- Own tools suitable for day-to-day workshop servicing, diagnostics and repair duties
