About the Role
A great opportunity has opened for an experienced vehicle technician to join a busy, well-established aftersales team in Ipswich. This role suits a vehicle technician who enjoys a varied workshop environment, takes pride in high standards, and delivers excellent customer service.
As a vehicle technician, you'll carry out servicing, repairs, fault diagnosis, and warranty work in line with manufacturer guidelines. You'll be working independently within set timeframes, identifying defects, completing accurate job card write-ups, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain vehicles following manufacturer procedures and timescales
- Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, fault finding, and defect rectification
- Identify worn components and report findings professionally for customer authorisation
- Complete warranty repairs and associated documentation accurately
- Follow workshop processes, codes of practice, and Health & Safety standards
- Work collaboratively with the wider service team to ensure smooth workflow
What We're Looking For
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
- MOT licence (desirable)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and within time constraints
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- A positive, team-focused attitude
