Job Title: Vehicle Technicians

Primary Location: Ashchurch, Gloucestershire (GL20)

Company: E-ppl Ltd

Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour plus £5 per hour for expenses and allowance

Contract Type: Permanent / Outcomes-Based Package of Work

  • Base pay £629.00
  • Allowance £185
  • Total per week £814.00

Requirements

  • Security Clearance: BPSS Required (E-ppl will fully sponsor and process this for you)

While our head office is proudly based in Coventry, this specific role is permanently located at our operational site in Ashchurch, Gloucestershire (GL20). Located less than a quarter-mile from Junction 9 of the M5 and within short walking distance of the Ashchurch for Tewkesbury Railway Station (on the main Bristol-to-Birmingham line), our facility is easily commutable from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, and Tewkesbury. Initial interviews will be conducted virtually via Teams, followed by a final stage on-site at our Ashchurch facility.

E-ppl Ltd is recruiting a dedicated team of Vehicle Technicians to deliver a critical fleet maintenance package at our Ashchurch site. Working as part of an autonomous E-ppl team under an outcomes-based package of work, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspection & Servicing: Carry out diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs on designated vehicle platforms
  • Rectification & Prep: Perform follow-on maintenance to ensure safety and full compliance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections
  • Fleet Upgrades: Bring vehicles up to required operational standards
  • Quality Assurance: Execute reworks and rectify defects identified during examination stages
  • Safety First: Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety policies at all times
  • Security Clearance: Must be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) checks. E-ppl will fully sponsor and manage this process
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (military, commercial, or fleet experience is highly desirable)
  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities and familiarity with fleet asset tracking
  • PPE: Ability to provide your own standard coveralls and safety footwear
