Level 3 Vehicle Technician
Location: Croydon, London
Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent
The Opportunity
We're currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join a growing engineering and maintenance team based in Croydon, South London.
This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified Vehicle Technician who enjoys fault finding, diagnostics and keeping vehicles and equipment operating to a high standard.
You'll be working as part of a skilled engineering team, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs while ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable and ready for operation.
The Role
As a Level 3 Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and carrying out effective repairs.
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults and issues.
- Completing preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed.
- Working closely with colleagues and management to minimise vehicle downtime.
- Following company health & safety procedures and maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance / Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Experience carrying out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance.
- A good understanding of vehicle systems and fault finding.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous.
- Experience with HGVs, commercial vehicles, plant or heavy-duty equipment would also be beneficial.
