Vehicle Technician Opportunity in Fareham

Our client, one of the UK's fastest-growing fast-fit automotive businesses, is seeking a Vehicle Technician for their retail centre in Fareham.

Role Overview

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing work on customers' vehicles
  • Completing a wide range of fast-fit mechanical work and light and full-service work

Our client is willing to support your qualifications, so you do not need to be a qualified technician for this role.

Location

Fareham

Pay/Salary

  • Basic: £30,000 - £35,000
  • OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and Schedule

  • 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
  • Saturdays 08:30 - 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week

Responsibilities

  • Light and full-service work
  • Fast-fit duties such as:
    • Replacing and repairing brakes, exhausts, car batteries, suspension parts
    • Operating precision wheel alignment machinery, interpreting readings, and completing accurate adjustments
    • Carrying out precise tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements, and repairs across various vehicle makes
  • Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
  • Work as a team with the other Vehicle Technicians

Requirements

  • Valid UK driving licence (Essential)
  • Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
  • Passion for the Automotive industry and a desire to develop further
  • Interest in learning and developing your knowledge of Hybrid cars
