Location: Croydon
Salary: Up to £50,000 Basic + Team Bonus + Overtime
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm (Optional Weekend Overtime)

Vehicle Technician
We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a growing fleet maintenance business based in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company offering an excellent basic salary, genuine career progression and the chance to play a key role in developing the workshop.
Working within a small, close-knit team, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a fleet of approximately 360 commercial vans, primarily consisting of Ford, Volkswagen and Renault vehicles. This role offers plenty of autonomy and is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys diagnostics and wants to help shape the future of a busy workshop.

Role
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a fleet of approximately 360 commercial vans.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults.
- Complete routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards while minimizing downtime.
- Support the day-to-day running of the workshop alongside the existing team.
- Assist with workshop planning and maintaining productivity.
- Maintain excellent health and safety standards within the workshop.
- Play a key role in the future expansion of the workshop, including plans to introduce MOT testing.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills are essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience working on Ford, Volkswagen and Renault vehicles would be highly advantageous.
- Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential; experience and ability are the priority.
- Reliable, self-motivated and capable of working independently within a fleet maintenance environment.
