Vehicle Technician

£39,467 basic | £46,967 OTE (time saved bonus, team profit, CSI bonus) 25 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service) | Life assurance & pension | Servicing & purchase discounts

Full-time | 45 hours per week | Weekend rota

A great opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a modern, well-equipped workshop offering strong earnings, manufacturer training, and long-term career development. This role suits a Vehicle Technician who enjoys complex fault-finding, EV work, and delivering high-quality repairs in a professional, process-driven environment.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will:

  • Carry out advanced diagnostic, warranty, and repair work across a wide range of vehicles.
  • Complete EV and hybrid tasks (if qualified), plus hydraulic and safety-critical repairs.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve difficult faults efficiently.
  • Support Apprentice Technicians with guidance and development.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and manufacturer process.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a Vehicle Technician with:

  • Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) and a recognised diagnostic qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic (brand-qualified applicants also considered).
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, organised approach suited to a busy workshop environment.
  • A desire to progress ongoing manufacturer training provided to keep you ahead of EV and emerging technologies.
