Vehicle Technician / Master Technician

Locations: Kidwelly | Narberth | Abergavenny
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Competitive, Based on candidate
Driving Licence Required: Yes

Gravells is currently looking for experienced automotive technicians to join our Aftersales Teams across South and West Wales.

Whether you're an experienced Qualified Technician looking for your next opportunity or an established Master Technician, we'd love to hear from you.

As a franchised main dealer, our technicians benefit from manufacturer training, ongoing technical support and access to the latest diagnostic technology, tools and best-practice processes.

The Role

Depending on your experience and level of qualification, responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing and repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer technical standards
  • Diagnosing faults and identifying additional or non-routine repairs
  • Completing Electronic Vehicle Health Checks
  • Road testing vehicles for diagnosis and following repairs
  • Working closely with Service Teams to communicate the progress of customer vehicles
  • Maintaining a high level of technical competence through manufacturer training and support
  • Providing technical advice and support to other members of the workshop team where appropriate
  • Maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and customer service

About You

We're looking for experienced technicians who:

  • Hold a relevant automotive qualification such as IMI or City & Guilds
  • Have strong technical and diagnostic skills
  • Are passionate about the automotive industry and developing their technical knowledge
  • Take pride in delivering quality work with a first-time-fix mentality
  • Work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Hold a full driving licence

For our Master Technician opportunities, a Level 3 IMI/City & Guilds qualification and relevant Master Technician experience are required.
