Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician looking to join a premium automotive brand and take your career to the next level?

At Vertu Land Rover Bolton, we're expanding our workshop team and are looking for talented Service & Maintenance Technicians who take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and outstanding customer service.

We're offering a basic salary between £28,000 and £36,200, depending on your skills and experience, based on a 42-hour working week, plus the opportunity to earn additional over-performance bonuses.

About The Role

As a Service & Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the highest levels of service, quality, and trust.

You'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards, helping to ensure every customer leaves with complete confidence in their vehicle and the work completed.

From routine servicing and maintenance through to more complex diagnostics and repairs, you'll use your technical expertise to deliver first-time fixes and exceptional workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose faults efficiently and accurately
  • Complete repairs in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and compliantly
  • Deliver high standards of quality and attention to detail
  • Identify additional repair requirements when appropriate
  • Accurately complete job cards and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain workshop efficiency and productivity
  • Contribute to a culture focused on customer satisfaction and first-time fixes

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant Automotive qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3)
  • Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Your own set of tools
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
  • Positive attitude and strong team-working ethic

Desirable

  • MOT Tester Licence

Whilst an MOT Licence would be advantageous, it is not essential, and opportunities for further training and development may be available.
