Vehicle Technician Woolwich

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a large, fast-paced dealership workshop in Woolwich. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have at least 2 years' relevant workshop experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence for at least 12 months and have the right to work in the UK.

Job Details:

  • Location: Woolwich
  • Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 basic depending on experience
  • OTE: £50,000 - £60,000+ uncapped
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:00am - 12:30pm, paid as overtime

Vehicle Technician Role

  • Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using specialist diagnostic equipment
  • Replace components and complete authorised repairs efficiently
  • Carry out vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements
  • Complete video vehicle health checks and accurately report findings
  • Road test vehicles following repairs where required
  • Maintain accurate workshop documentation and work towards productivity targets

Vehicle Technician Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, including IMI, City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent essential
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
  • Main dealership experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic capability
  • Comfortable working within a busy, target-driven workshop
  • Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 12 months essential
  • Right to work in the UK
