Oakmere Mazda in Northwich is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our award-winning team.

Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Servicing & Repairs
- Carry out scheduled servicing and repairs to Mazda manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose and repair non-routine faults using your technical knowledge and experience.
- Complete MOT-related inspections and Vehicle Safety Reports (VSR) accurately.
- Work efficiently to job card times to maintain productivity.
- Follow all workshop and dealership Health & Safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised working environment and ensure workshop equipment is cared for and reported if faulty.

Quality & Efficiency
- Follow established processes to deliver consistently high-quality workmanship.

Customer Interaction
- Communicate clearly with customers about required or completed work.
- Provide technical explanations in a way that suits each customer's level of understanding.
- Build rapport and ensure a positive customer experience.
Team Support & Development
- Support and mentor apprentice technicians, offering guidance and hands-on instruction.
- Assist colleagues who may be less familiar with certain vehicles or technologies.
Training & Development
- Attend regular Mazda and group training to stay up to date with the latest vehicle technology and workshop equipment.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with colleagues across all departments to ensure seamless customer service.
- Identify and communicate potential sales or service opportunities.
- Report technical issues through the correct channels.

Job Type
- Full Time
- Permanent
- Monday to Friday
- Saturdays 9am - 1pm (on a rota basis)
- Overtime available
