Vehicle Technician Godstone
We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician, or Car Mechanic to join a modern independent garage in Godstone. Formal qualifications are not essential, but applicants must have solid hands-on workshop experience covering servicing, maintenance, and general mechanical repairs. A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.
Job Details:
- Location: Godstone
- Salary: £40,000 basic + bonus & overtime
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, plus every other Saturday. When working the Saturday, you will receive a day off during the week.

Vehicle Technician Role
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Complete general mechanical repairs to a high standard
- Diagnose and repair common mechanical faults
- Complete occasional clutch replacements when required
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional work required
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety
- Work effectively as part of an experienced workshop team
Vehicle Technician Requirements
- Previous hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Mechanic
- Strong servicing, maintenance, and general mechanical repair experience
- Confident completing routine mechanical repairs independently
- Formal automotive qualifications are not essential
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-first approach
- Full UK Driving Licence essential
- Right to work in the UK
