Job Title: Vehicle Technician
Location: Ashchurch, Gloucestershire (GL20 8LZ)
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Potential for extension)
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Working Hours: Mon–Thu 7:30 AM–4:30 PM | Fri 7:30 AM–1:00 PM – Overtime maybe available
Pay Rate: £22.00/hr total (£17.00/hr base + £5.00/hr expense allowance) | Paid Weekly
Security Clearance: BPSS (Fully sponsored by E-ppl)
Join E-ppl as a Vehicle Technician in Ashchurch
E-ppl Ltd is hiring dedicated Vehicle Technicians to deliver a critical fleet maintenance project at our Ashchurch site. Working within a skilled, supportive team, you will ensure the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Servicing: Execute diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs across designated fleet platforms.
- Rectification & Prep: Complete follow-on maintenance to ensure full safety and compliance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
- Fleet Upgrades & Reworks: Upgrade vehicles to operational standards and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety policies at all times.

Location & Commute
Located less than 0.25 miles from Junction 9 of the M5 and a short walk from Ashchurch for Tewkesbury Railway Station (Bristol-to-Birmingham line). Easily commutable from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, and Tewkesbury.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Level 3 IMI, NVQ, City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Experience: Proven track record as a Vehicle Technician (military, commercial, or fleet background strongly preferred).
- Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities and familiarity with fleet asset tracking.
- Security Clearance: Eligible for BPSS clearance (sponsored and managed entirely by E-ppl).
- Equipment: Standard coveralls and safety footwear (all mechanical tools provided).
