Vehicle Technician - BMW, MINI, Chery & INEOS

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our growing aftersales team at Wollaston Northampton, now operating from our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility.

This is an exciting time to join Wollaston as we continue to grow our business and represent an expanding portfolio of premium and specialist automotive brands, including BMW, MINI, Chery and INEOS.

About The Role

As a Wollaston Vehicle Technician, you will join a highly skilled and supportive team and be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of vehicles across our multiple brands.

Working from our new facility, you'll have access to modern equipment, the latest technology and excellent workshop facilities, giving you the tools and environment to carry out your work to the highest possible standard.

Your role will include:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Using the latest diagnostic equipment and technology
  • Working efficiently to agreed timescales and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop in excellent condition
  • Working as part of a professional and supportive aftersales team
  • Delivering the high levels of service and customer care that Wollaston is known for

Working hours & package

  • Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:30am - 1:00pm
  • £33,000 basic starting salary, £6,000 OTE bonus
  • 30 days' holiday, including bank holidays, rising to 32 days with service

About You

You will be a qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification such as City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance, or an equivalent qualification.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills and can work efficiently while maintaining excellent standards.

Previous experience within a prestige or manufacturer environment would be advantageous, but it is not essential. With our excellent facilities, manufacturer training and experienced team around you, we can support the right individual in developing their skills and progressing their career.
