Job Summary

Pay: From £32,500 per year

Brindley Kia are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop team in Wolverhampton.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong technical ability and is committed to delivering a high standard of workmanship for every customer.

About The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, servicing and repair of customer vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Carrying out detailed Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs)
  • Diagnosing faults using manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment
  • Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Servicing and maintaining customer vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Road testing vehicles following repairs to ensure they are safe and operating correctly
  • Following manufacturer inspection and repair procedures
  • Identifying additional work required and communicating findings clearly
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and ensuring all work is completed correctly first time
  • Working efficiently to meet workshop targets and customer expectations
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

About You

  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic knowledge
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to fault finding
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
  • A positive attitude and willingness to continue developing your skills
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
