Vehicle Technician – Cars2 Group Ltd

Positions available in Bradford, Wakefield, Barnsley, Doncaster, and Huddersfield

Position: Vehicle Technician

Location: Cars2 Group Ltd (Various Locations)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience, plus excellent benefits and bonus opportunities

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our Aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated technician looking to develop their career within a progressive and customer-focused organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults efficiently.
  • Perform vehicle health checks and identify additional work required.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and the wider workshop team to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Support workshop productivity and quality targets.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a recognised Level 2 or 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Have previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.
  • Possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer service.

Desirable

  • MOT Tester qualification.
  • Franchise dealership experience not necessary but would be advantageous.
  • Manufacturer training or accreditation.
