Job Description

Location: TBC Conversions, 50 Far Circular Road

TBC Ltd (Taxi and Bus Conversion Ltd) are recognised as one of the market leading conversion companies operating across the UK and Ireland. TBC Conversions have a close partnership with Motability and major manufacturers such as Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, MAN TGE Minibus and many others. Founded on the principles of intelligence, care, and empathy, TBC Conversions specialises in wheelchair accessible vehicles, minibus, and bespoke conversions that fill a gap in the market for quality products and attentive service.

Main Purpose of Job

You will focus on providing high quality vehicle preparation, whilst ensuring that the work is carried out professionally and to the customer’s satisfaction.

Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations whilst carrying out work in a timely manner and contributing to departmental targets using a “right first time” approach.

About The Role

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure vehicles are washed as per the Cleaning rota in preparation for the next day
  • Ensure vehicles are washed perfectly to customer satisfaction using the correct materials provided
  • Assist with the efficient flow of vehicles around the site, for collection and delivery
  • Maintenance of cleaning equipment and other materials
  • Maintain work areas in a clean and tidy condition
  • Complete vehicle forecourt checks to ensure all stock is cleaned to required standards
  • Assist with site maintenance duties as required
  • Be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Note any accidents or damage on vehicles and to bring to the attention of the relevant manager

  • Be self-motivated, possessing drive and ambition to achieve quality results
  • Be pro-active and enthusiastic towards your work
  • Ability to communicate effectively with manager and other work colleagues
  • Ability to pay attention to detail through a logical work approach
  • Work independently in a busy, active environment with little supervision and direction
  • Ability to deal with physical work
  • Full driving licence is mandatory for the role
  • Ability to use the most appropriate tools and machinery applicable to the job

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to use the most appropriate tools and machinery applicable to the job.
  • Full driving licence is mandatory for the role.
  • Ability to drive within DVA regulations and taking extra precautions with all vehicles at all times
  • Must be able to work independently in a busy, demanding environment
