Vendor Engagement Lead – Vulnerability Management Programme

3–6 Month Initial Contract | Inside IR35 | £600–700 per day | Remote with occasional London travel

I’m currently recruiting for two Vendor Engagement Lead positions supporting a major technology transformation programme for a global investment banking organisation.

The programme is a board-priority vulnerability and patch management transformation, focused on improving the way vulnerabilities are identified, managed and remediated across a complex global technology estate. We’re looking for senior professionals at VP / AVP or Senior Manager level who can lead engagement with strategic technology vendors, challenge existing approaches, identify opportunities for improvement and ultimately help drive the programme forward.

The Role

You’ll sit across the programme, technology teams and external vendors, acting as a key point of engagement between the organisation and its strategic technology partners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading senior-level discussions with major infrastructure, security and technology vendors
  • Assessing vendor capabilities, approaches and proposed solutions
  • Challenging vendors where appropriate and identifying opportunities to improve remediation outcomes
  • Understanding complex technical and programme information and turning it into clear recommendations
  • Bringing together information from multiple vendors and internal teams to identify themes, risks and opportunities
  • Facilitating workshops and executive-level discussions
  • Working closely with programme leadership to shape recommendations and next steps
  • Tracking actions through to completion and ensuring vendors remain aligned with programme objectives
  • Helping accelerate outcomes across the wider vulnerability and patch management transformation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is a high-profile programme within a global investment banking organisation, being delivered alongside a major technology services and infrastructure provider. The programme has significant senior-level visibility, so this role would suit someone who is comfortable operating at VP / Senior Manager level, influencing senior stakeholders and working across both technical and commercial conversations.

There are two positions available, with opportunities at VP and AVP level.
