The role

As a Vendor Intern, you will support the Vendor Management team in maintaining and developing the network of language professionals and suppliers that help VSI deliver localisation services to clients around the world. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and begin a career within the procurement side of the localisation industry.

Working closely with the Vendor Management Lead and wider team, you will provide administrative support, maintain accurate supplier information and help ensure production teams have access to the resources they need. You will also collaborate with colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds in a fast-paced, international environment.

What You Will Do

  • Support the Vendor Management team in maintaining a strong network of suppliers and language professionals.
  • Help ensure appropriate resources are available to support production requirements.
  • Update and maintain vendor information across company systems.
  • Organise and maintain supplier documentation, ensuring all relevant legal records are complete and correctly stored.
  • Provide administrative support to the Vendor Management team and assist with ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Keep records accurate, organised and up to date.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds.

What We Are Looking For

  • A university degree, preferably in Translation, Audiovisual Translation or a related discipline.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, planning and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Strong problem-solving and numeracy skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach, positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to support the team wherever needed.
