JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing and managing relationships with our vendors and distributors that supply our IT products and services. Ensuring vendor-led products and services meet the needs of our customers and standards of our organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To provide vendor content or group marketing function to enable content creation. Work collaboratively to create business plans for vendors that align to Axians objectives, continue to develop pipeline opportunity and stable MDF and rebates.
  • To keep updated with current industry trends and advise leadership team of potential strategic changes required, communicating necessary information from vendors on changes, education and insights to sales and marketing and the wider Axians team when necessary.
  • Work closely with finance, procurement and sales to align vendor services with operational needs.
  • Closely align to the marketing team to work collaboratively on vendor funded activities, supporting on timelines, vendor guidelines on activity and submitting activity plans and proof.
  • Achieve and maintain required vendor certificates.
  • Be the subject matter expert on vendor training and sales needs, providing input into the SLT on training to the sales team on technologies, process and products and organising to get training required.
  • To ensure regular QBR’s are maintained and recorded, with joint Business plans updated and communicated.
  • Evaluate vendor performance against KPI’s and conduct regular reviews internally and externally, implementing required improvements to optimise service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain and optimise relationships with customers, vendors and distributors, ensuring high quality service delivery and alignment to business objectives.
  • Attend meeting with customers and sales.
  • Track and maximise rates from vendors ensuring that they are accurately forecasted.
  • Support on framework responses when needed.
  • Contribute to complex and diverse bids and projects within the practice area for a broad range of multi-vendor solutions.
  • Prepare monthly reports and presentations for SLT on vendor performance, contract status, rebates, orders against target and recommendations.
  • Supporting SLT and Marketing Director on other necessary vendor focused activities.
  • Ensure deal regs are efficiently optimised and recorded.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to maximise our MDF and rebates.
  • Responsible for project input and claim uploads and execution for funded activities.
  • Professionally representing the company whilst at external meetings, visits and when meeting customers as per the Vinci Code of Conduct.
  • Always adhere to company policy and work in line with the company Quality Management System.
  • Ensuring own and Teams adherence to Axians’ Management System Manual for Quality (ISO 9001), InfoSec (ISO 27001) and ESG (ISO 14001).

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Competent using Microsoft Office applications *(excel/word/outlook).
  • Extensive years’ experience in vendor relationships with the skills to create business plans and execute against them involving multiple teams.
  • Demonstrate practical knowledge of ICT technologies and full project cycle implementation.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, analytics and problem-solving abilities.
