Vendor Operations Analyst
We are seeking a Vendor Operations Analyst to support the management and administration of financial data, research, alternative data, and other strategic third-party vendors for a highly respected global alternative investment manager.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within financial services operations while gaining exposure to vendor contracts, vendor management, procurement, technology, and operational governance.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, intellectually curious professional who enjoys bringing structure to complex operational processes and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. Working within a small, high-performing team, you'll support the full lifecycle of strategic vendors—from onboarding and contract administration to renewals, governance, and continuous process improvement.
Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to operational excellence. Every task—whether updating documentation, coordinating a contract, communicating with a vendor, or supporting an internal stakeholder—contributes to protecting the firm's operational, legal, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of financial data, research, software, and technology vendors throughout the vendor lifecycle.
- Coordinate vendor onboarding, renewals, amendments, and offboarding activities.
- Maintain complete and accurate vendor records, contracts, and documentation across internal systems.
- Monitor contract milestones, renewal dates, and operational deadlines to ensure timely completion.
- Support procurement, legal, and compliance workflows by preparing, routing, and tracking documentation through established approval processes.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across technology, finance, legal, compliance, and business teams to ensure requests are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with external vendors regarding operational and administrative matters.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation that enables informed operational and commercial decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, documentation, and team efficiency.
- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
