Taylor Root is delighted to be working with a leading international law firm in search of an ambitious Corporate - Venture Capital Senior Associate to join its top-tier team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading team that advises high-growth companies, founders, investors, venture capital funds, and private equity sponsors on a broad range of complex and high-value transactions. The team is recognised for its work across the technology, consumer, and life sciences sectors, supporting businesses throughout their lifecycle from early-stage investment through to growth, acquisitions, and exit events.
The Role
You will advise on:
- Venture capital and growth equity investments
- Series A through to later-stage funding rounds
- M&A transactions, both domestic and cross-border
- Founders, management teams, and investors on strategic transactions
- General corporate advisory work for emerging and growth-stage businesses

The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from lawyers who:
- Have 4+ years' PQE gained at a leading UK or international law firm
- Possess strong experience in venture capital, growth equity, and corporate M&A transactions
- Have exposure to technology, consumer, fintech, or life sciences clients
- Enjoy direct client contact and business development opportunities
- Are commercially minded, collaborative, and entrepreneurial in approach
