Stoke City Football Club is Hiring a Venue Event Planner

Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League are looking for a Venue Event Planner. The role will be based at the bet365 Stadium.

As a Venue Event Planner, you will be responsible for the organisation, coordination and execution of all operational aspects of our venue business.

You will focus on the planning and delivery of all non-matchday events, ensuring every guest experience is delivered to the highest standard.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our events are planned meticulously and delivered to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will be available to work evenings and weekends to cover ad hoc events at the bet365 Stadium.

The position will be offered on a full-time basis. All relevant training will be provided.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinating non-matchday events, liaising with organisers to prepare detailed event plans.
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure meticulous event planning and delivery.
  • Managing equipment and supply needs, including ordering, checking deliveries and booking external suppliers.
  • Conducting regular checks of stadium facilities and event spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Managing rotas for casual staff, providing guidance and monitoring performance standards.
  • Responding to guest feedback and managing customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Assisting with the management of the venue digital signage system.
  • Generating ideas for future events and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with Club policies, including health and safety, safeguarding and security protocols.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience in managing rotas and leading teams.
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and digital signage management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
