Built on five generations of brewing heritage, Brewpoint is far more than a venue. It's the home of our brewery, a vibrant taproom, restaurant, events destination and community hub. It is where our guests experience the very best of our brands, our culture and our passion for exceptional hospitality.
We're looking for an inspirational and entrepreneurial Venue Manager to lead Brewpoint into its next chapter. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of one of Bedford's most distinctive hospitality destinations, shaping experiences that attract guests, build loyalty and drive commercial success.
As the face of Brewpoint, you will create a culture where great people, exceptional service and outstanding products come together to deliver memorable moments every day.
Position
As Venue Manager, you will have overall accountability for the leadership, performance and reputation of Brewpoint, ensuring every part of the venue consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences while achieving ambitious commercial objectives.
- Lead a diverse operation encompassing hospitality, events, private hire, brewery experiences and retail, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to bring energy and momentum to the business.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team, creating a culture of pride, accountability, engagement and development.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience that sets Brewpoint apart as a destination venue within Bedford and beyond.
- Drive sales, profitability and operational excellence across all revenue streams, including food, drink, retail, events and private hire.

- Champion the Brewpoint brand, bringing our brewing heritage and products to life through outstanding storytelling and customer engagement.
- Work closely with brewery and support teams to showcase innovation, launch new products and create memorable customer experiences.
- Maximise all commercial opportunities through effective planning, marketing initiatives, conversion of enquiries and proactive business development.
- Ensure the venue consistently operates to the highest standards of safety, compliance, cleanliness and presentation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
