We're looking for a passionate Venue Manager to lead our thriving taproom. This is a hands-on role for an energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building community, and takes pride in delivering outstanding experiences while showcasing great beer at its best.
Position:
Your role as Venue Manager:
- Accountable for the overall day-to-day management of the entire retail division, to drive excellence in food and drink delivery to maximise profitability supporting towards the overall company vision
- Instrumental in the operational input of the site whilst recruiting and training an exceptional team that will not only delight our guests but also excite them!
- Local networking to build an array of ongoing events - sparking public interest and instant social following, in addition to promoting tours, private hire space and ensuring a high level of sales conversions on all enquiries
- Naturally, you will be expected to deliver against the key measures of sales, profit, stock, team retention and guest satisfaction, as well as adhering to all legislative requirements for people, safety and licensing
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and operational excellence throughout the venue premises
- Work closely with the brewery team to showcase new products and create exciting customer experiences

Requirements:
- Operations - a strong manager with experience of operating multi revenue streams including wet, dry, event and conference facilities
- Events experience - ability to operationally manage big events and private booking space whilst ensuring the remaining business operates smoothly
- Sales & Marketing – ability to network in the local area to create in-demand experiences
- Entrepreneurial flair – know and understand your market, competitor’s and customers to implement and drive sales opportunities
- Passion for Beer – knowledge and passion for beer to ensure that this is high on the agenda with the wider team
- Resilience – you will be operating a business that is at the heart of our Support Centre
- Management – proven success of recruiting, training, coaching and developing a high-performing front-of-house team
