We are looking for an ambitious and driven Venue Sales Manager to join my client's growing contract catering team in the City of London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a passion for events and hospitality to play a key role in driving revenue and building lasting client relationships.

Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for securing new business event sales in corporate head offices throughout the city.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through proactive sales activity, networking, and lead generation.
  • Manage incoming event enquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and private customers.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Negotiate pricing and maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Work closely with the operations and events teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Attend networking events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  • Monitor sales performance and achieve monthly revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate records using the company’s CRM system.

  • Proven experience in events sales, venue sales, hospitality, or conference sales.
  • A strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, commercially minded, and results-driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of the London events market is highly desirable.
