Location / Office address: London (venue-based)

WFH / Office / Remote: Fully on-site

Working hours: Full time, with some evening/weekend work during event tenancy

A long-established London events venue is seeking an experienced Venue Services Manager to support the delivery of exhibitions and events throughout the year. The venue is known for its strong company culture, award-winning operations and commitment to people, community and sustainability. The role sits within the Venue Services team and focuses on supporting organisers, coordinating internal and external services, and ensuring exhibitions run smoothly from planning through to delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Organiser support — Advise organisers on venue services and ensure a smooth, professional customer journey.
  • Operational oversight — Approve organiser arrangements, manage event records and oversee day-to-day venue activity.
  • Service coordination — Brief and monitor in-house services; liaise with contractors and external suppliers.
  • On-site event support — Provide support throughout tenancy, including occasional evenings/weekends.
  • Health & safety — Ensure compliance with venue and local authority regulations; manage H&S matters and record monitoring notes.
  • Financial administration — Prepare final accounts with the sales team and support revenue targets.
  • Exhibitor support — Oversee exhibitor needs and support the Venue Services Coordinator.
  • Post-event reporting — Produce after-show notes to support continuous improvement.
  • System management — Set up shows on the venue’s online system.
  • Industry representation — Represent the venue at industry events when required.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to use initiative
  • Highly organised and deadline-focused
  • Strong in interpersonal communication
  • Confident with budgets, reconciliations and reporting
  • Knowledgeable in health & safety, risk assessments and emergency procedures
  • A supportive team player with supervisory awareness
  • Willing to learn and develop
