We're looking for a Senior Venue Services Planning Manager to join our Venue Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operational planning professional to lead the planning, governance and coordination of the activities that prepare Excel London for occupation, helping shape the future of one of the world's busiest event destinations.
🎯 About the role
As Senior Venue Services Planning Manager, you'll lead the Venue Services Planning function, overseeing how venue readiness activities are planned, prioritised and coordinated across a complex event calendar.
Working closely with Technical Services, operational stakeholders and strategic partners, you'll ensure the venue can continue to support increasing utilisation safely, efficiently and at scale, whilst driving operational performance, governance and continuous improvement.

🔧 Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the planning and governance of venue readiness activities across the venue calendar.
- Managing operational interdependencies between internal teams, contractors and strategic partners.
- Owning the operational account management and performance of key service partners.
- Driving compliance, governance and service delivery standards across multiple venue services.
- Using operational and performance data to improve planning, resource utilisation and decision-making.
- Managing budgets, supplier performance and cost control within the function.
✅ We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in operational planning, venue operations, event infrastructure, logistics, programme management or a similar complex environment.
- Demonstrates strong leadership, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Has experience managing suppliers, contractors or strategic partnerships.
- Is comfortable working with operational, performance and financial data to support decision-making.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment managing competing priorities.
- Can build strong relationships across multiple teams and functions.
