Venue Sourcing Manager
📍 Remote (UK) or Hybrid in Wakefield
C2events, part of ITA Group, Inc.
C2events is seeking an experienced Venue Sourcing Manager to lead and develop our Venue Sourcing team while delivering exceptional venue solutions for meetings, conferences, incentives, and events around the world. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on venue sourcing expertise. You'll oversee complex sourcing projects, strengthen supplier partnerships, drive team performance, and contribute to the continued growth and success of our business. What You'll Do
- Lead and develop the Venue Sourcing team through coaching, performance management, and ongoing professional development.
- Manage complex venue sourcing projects from initial client brief through contract execution.
- Provide consultative venue recommendations aligned with client objectives, budgets, and event requirements.
- Conduct venue and destination research across domestic and international markets.
- Negotiate competitive rates, favorable contract terms, and added value with venues and suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, venues, destination management companies, and industry partners.
- Collaborate closely with Event Managers, Account Managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
- Monitor team performance, commercial results, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Drive process improvements and support the adoption of sourcing technology and best practices.
- Contribute to departmental strategy, business development initiatives, and overall agency growth.

What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in venue sourcing within the meetings, events, hospitality, or agency sector.
- Previous experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or managing team members.
- Strong knowledge of UK and international venues and destination markets.
- Proven experience negotiating venue contracts, supplier agreements, and commercial terms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of profitability drivers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated-industry clients is highly desirable.
- Experience with Cvent or other venue sourcing platforms is a plus.
