Role Purpose

The Venue Sourcing role exists to support corporate clients by finding, negotiating and securing the most suitable venues for meetings, conferences, groups and events. Working within the Venue Sourcing team at Clarity Business Travel, the role has responsibility for delivering venue solutions that meet client requirements for budget, location and service quality. Using strong knowledge of venues and contract negotiation, the role contributes directly to positive client experiences and successful event delivery. This role plays an important part in supporting clients’ wider business travel and events objectives.


Operational - Key Tasks

  • Understand and interpret client requirements for business meetings and events in order to source the most appropriate venues.
  • Proactively source venues in the UK and internationally that align with client expectations around budget, location and service standards.
  • Negotiate favourable commercial terms with venues to ensure best value and outcomes for clients.
  • Review, manage and secure contracts in line with client requirements and internal company standards.
  • Work closely with internal teams, particularly finance, to support contract administration, invoicing and payment processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver end-to-end venue sourcing solutions and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Support the Team Manager by helping monitor service quality and client feedback.
  • Contribute to the training and development of colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practice.

Skills And Experience

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines.
  • A client-first approach with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering high-quality customer service via phone, email or face-to-face.
  • Strong teamwork skills, working collaboratively to solve problems and deliver excellent service.
  • Experience using venue booking systems.
  • Good knowledge of UK and overseas meetings and events venues.
