Vessel Operations Coordinator
London | £30,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
We are recruiting for a Vessel Operations Coordinator to join a leading international Dry Bulk shipping organisation based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and commercially minded individual looking to develop a long-term career within the maritime sector.
Working closely with Chartering Managers, Masters, Agents and Brokers, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of Dry Bulk vessels, ensuring voyages are executed safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day operation of Dry Bulk vessels from fixture through to voyage completion.
- Review charter parties, fixture recaps and voyage instructions.
- Monitor vessel schedules, positions and voyage performance.
- Liaise with Masters, Agents, Brokers and Chartering teams to ensure efficient voyage execution.
- Assist with bunker planning, freight invoicing, hire statements and voyage accounting activities.
- Support laytime calculations, demurrage claims and operational reporting.
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
- Support the resolution of operational, performance and cargo-related claims.

About You
- Experience within shipping, maritime operations, logistics or a similar operational environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Exposure to Dry Bulk shipping would be advantageous.
