About the Role

We are looking for a candidate to join our vessel performance team, as a company with a focus on optimisation and reducing emissions, the vessel performance team is key to achieving that. The team models the performance of vessels in order to monitor and analyse energy efficiency of the fleet. The role requires working with report, sensor and environmental data, analysing trends and advising the operations dept on performance. The role involves working with all vessel types from tankers, bulkers, container vessels and gas carriers. The candidate would participate in collaborative projects for developing tools for analysis, should be proactive towards problem solving and have good teamwork skills.

Requirements

  • Monitor and analyse fleet performance
  • Work with both internal and external customers
  • Build performance analysis reports using vessel models, reported and sensor data
  • Update vessel speed and consumption benchmarks and maintain vessel database
  • Use hull fouling models to advise on hull inspections requirements
  • Provide analysis for Monthly Vessel Performance Reports
  • Half yearly Vessel Performance Reviews for Pools and discuss the review with the Pool Partner
  • Timecharter Performance Claims experience
  • Meetings and presentations with customers
  • Recommend external actions basis analysis and analyse impact of the recommendation

Required Skills

  • Minimum degree
  • 3 years' experience in Vessel Performance
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a broad range of tasks
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in SQL, R / Python, Power BI/ Tableau
