About The Role
Join our amazing team in South East London as a Registered Veterinary Surgeon!
This is an incredible opportunity to join a super supportive team of experienced Vets, RVNs and support staff at our Tooting practice. Our team is supported by certificate-holding surgeons and highly skilled GPs with strong interests across surgery, medicine, imaging, neurology and more.
As a Vet Surgeon in our team, you will have the opportunity to practise your skills to their full potential, working alongside colleagues with a wealth of clinical experience. You’ll have access to excellent facilities, a supportive clinical environment and plenty of opportunities to develop your own areas of interest.
This position would suit a dedicated and progressive Vet who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative team. Whether you’re looking to progress clinically, work towards a certificate or take the next step towards a Senior Vet role, we are dedicated to supporting you in becoming the Vet you want to be.
You will be working alongside multiple certificate-holding Vets with expertise in Orthopaedics, Imaging, Neurology and Internal Medicine, as well as a fantastic team of RVNs, highly trained VCAs and a fully committed customer care team. This means our clinical teams can focus on what they do best – providing outstanding care to our patients and clients.

This is a full-time position, working 4 days per week at our Tooting practice, with 1 in 4 weekends based at our Streatham Hill Hospital. Weekend work is rewarded with TOIL, helping you maintain an excellent work-life balance.
The Package With This Position Includes
- Salary up to £70,000, depending on experience

DNA Vetcare is a proudly independent group of multi award-winning surgeries, founded in 2006 by veterinary surgeons Alan van Heerden and Dane Walker. Dane and Alan have taken their years of experience working in numerous high quality practices, to provide exceptional vet care across London and Kent. Claire Baker joined Alan and Dane as a Director in 2019, originally arriving at the main London hospital in 2013 as a locum. Claire heads up the Group’s operations and vet team recruitment.
