Veterinary Care Assistant / Veterinary Receptionist

Salary - £24,000 to £26,000

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant / Receptionist to join our Beckenham Vets for Pets practice!

Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned, and purpose-built to industry-leading standards and has state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.

VCA Responsibilities

  • Supporting with clinical care of animals
  • High standard of animal care skills and experience required

Receptionist Duties

  • Assisting all colleagues with non-clinical duties
  • Supporting smooth running of the practice
  • Providing the best standard of patient care

Working Hours

  • Full or Part Time hours available
  • 1 in 3 Saturday only weekends
  • Monday to Friday: 8:45am – 7pm
  • Saturday: 8:45am – 5pm
  • Alternative hours: 5 day week 11am-7pm

The role involves animal handling and predominantly supporting the veterinary team in all aspects of clinical practice. Therefore, we are ideally looking for candidates with previous experience. There will be significant reception and front of house responsibility with the role, therefore you will also need to have strong communication and customer service skills.
