About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Redhill Vets for Pets.
Our modern, purpose-built practice is bright, spacious, fully air-conditioned, and equipped to industry-leading standards. With state-of-the-art facilities—including digital X-ray and an in-house laboratory—you’ll be working in an environment that supports the highest level of patient care.
In this role, you’ll support our clinical team by carrying out a range of essential non-clinical duties, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and delivering exceptional care to our patients and clients.
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career, with potential to develop into a Student Veterinary Nurse role in the future.
This is a Full-Time position working 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays with a salary in line with national minimum wage. If you share our passion for providing exceptional pet healthcare and outstanding customer service, and you’re excited about becoming part of a supportive and dedicated team, we’d love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
