About Us
We are a first opinion and Ophthalmology Referral practice. We have a small, friendly team of two and a half vets, five nursing staff (VCAs, student, and RVN), and one receptionist, striving to provide the highest level of care. Our clients describe the practice as feeling homely, and we have a nice garden for summer lunches and natural light.
Our Work Environment
The shift pattern is varied and we try to tailor it around individuals' home life and hobbies. We understand that everyone has a life outside of work. Although we are part of a big cooperative, we function independently and day to day is more like a family-run practice; still having the benefit of Medivet’s local 24-hour center and combined staff knowledge.

This role is not suitable for young workers in line with Health and Safety Executive (government) direction due to the expected duties of the role. Therefore, you will be asked to confirm that you are over the age of 18 as part of the application process.
What You’ll Be Doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional care to clients, supporting surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards
- Deliver patient monitoring and care to pets, including walking, toileting, and feeding
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
