Nurse Seekers are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, friendly veterinary practice that is looking to welcome an enthusiastic RVN to their experienced and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern practice where patient care is always the priority. You'll work alongside experienced Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses in a positive environment that encourages professional development, teamwork, and clinical excellence.
The Role
Responsibilities
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Veterinary Surgeons during consultations, surgical procedures, and diagnostics.
- Monitoring anaesthesia and providing exceptional peri-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments in line with veterinary instructions.
- Collecting and processing laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and faecal samples.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring compliance with RCVS standards.
- Delivering excellent client care by providing advice on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and ongoing treatment plans.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, infection control, and equipment sterilisation throughout the practice.

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- RCVS registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Previous experience within a small animal practice.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A caring, compassionate approach towards patients and their owners.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy clinical environment.
- Laboratory experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
