Registered Vet Nurse

We are now recruiting for a Registered Vet Nurse to join the team at a growing, successful small animal veterinary practice in the AYR area of SCOTLAND.

Role

Full-time permanent opportunity with flexible hours available (minimum of 3 days a week) with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota, no Sundays, and no out-of-hours. The practice is large and growing with 3 local branches with up-to-date equipment and technologies, including multi-parameter monitors, fluid pumps, BP monitors, ultrasound, etc.

Ideally, you will already have good experience in first opinion practice and be able to lead consults, monitor anaesthetics, and provide exceptional in-patient care. Fantastic development opportunity in a progressive, fast-paced first opinion practice with high clinical standards. You will join an amazing team of 14 RVNs with specialist training in acupuncture, pain management, behavior, and Schedule 3 surgical procedures. Well located on the southwest coast of Scotland, popular for commuters to Glasgow with direct train links in under 1 hour.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
