Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a first opinion small animal veterinary practice in the sought-after city of Glasgow area, Scotland.

  • Full-time permanent opportunity includes a 1 in 3 Saturday rota, no Sundays and no OOH
  • Practice is an RCVS PSS and RVN training practice, with superb facilities and equipment including; in-house Lab (Procyte, Catalyst One, InVue Dx, Sedivue Dx), ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, tonometer, patient warmer, fluid pumps, syringe driver etc.
  • Caseload is interesting and varied with a visiting Orthopaedic Specialist, so there are lots of development and learning opportunities.
  • Ideally, you will already have good experience of veterinary nursing, excellent customer service and communication skills, and a genuine interest in animal welfare.
  • Professional development and individual interests are encouraged and supported.
  • Join an amazing, friendly, and welcoming 3 RVN team.
  • Fantastic location to live and work - located to the North of the city of Glasgow, with easy access to the M80 motorway for commuting, near to Glasgow International Airport.

Requirements

  • Qualified Vet Nurse
  • Registered with RCVS
  • Good experience of veterinary nursing
  • Excellent customer service and communication
  • A genuine interest in animal welfare

Salary Package

  • Salary up to £33,500.00 per annum to reflect your experience
  • CPD funding, paid holidays, health care scheme, pension scheme, etc
