Veterinary Practice Transformation & Product Lead

Vetrics

Salary: £65,000 + £5,000 target performance bonus
Equity: Meaningful share options, subject to formal grant terms
Employment: Full-time
Reports to: Founder & Head of Product

About Vetrics

Vetrics is building veterinary practice software around a different question:

What would help veterinary practices become genuinely better businesses, while delivering exceptional care and customer experiences?

We're building far more than a traditional practice management system.

Our platform brings together clinical workflows, AI-assisted documentation, client communications, online booking, payments, pet health plans, business automation, reporting, and tools that help practices operate and grow.

We want practice owners to use technology to spend less time on administration, give their teams better working experiences, improve the service delivered to pet owners, and develop commercially stronger businesses.

The Opportunity

We're looking for someone with an unusual combination of veterinary industry knowledge, commercial intelligence, product instincts, and technical curiosity.

Part of your job will be helping veterinary practices use Vetrics successfully.

The much more interesting part is understanding how those practices operate, finding opportunities to improve their businesses, and helping us invent the tools that make those improvements possible.

You'll work directly with veterinary practice owners, managers, clinicians, and support teams.

You'll also work closely with the founder, who leads product strategy, and help turn real-world observations into better software.

You won't just collect feature requests. You'll investigate problems, challenge existing workflows, design solutions, and help take ideas through to implementation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You might be a veterinary practice manager who has become passionate about technology, a veterinary operations specialist with strong product skills, or an experienced veterinary software product professional who understands practice operations firsthand.

You don't need to be a qualified vet, an engineer, or an established product manager. But you do need to demonstrate the ability to understand and improve complex workflows.

What Success Looks Like

Our customers use more of Vetrics, realize measurable improvements in their businesses, and regard us as a valuable partner rather than simply a software supplier.

At the same time, you continually help us identify, design, and deliver products that solve important problems.

You turn customer understanding into product progress.

What We Offer

  • £65,000 base salary.
  • £5,000 target annual performance bonus.
  • 1.00% equity option opportunity.
  • Remote-first working, with direct customer access.
  • The ability to influence a large and evolving product.
  • Access to AI-assisted development and prototyping tools.
  • Close collaboration with the founder and Head of Product.
  • Real ownership of customer transformation and product discovery.

How to Apply

Send your CV or LinkedIn profile and tell us about two things:

  1. A process, business, or customer experience you've significantly improved, including the outcomes.
  2. A software feature, automation, or system you've designed, helped develop, or wished you could rebuild — and how you'd approach making it better.

Practical examples matter much more to us than formal job titles.
