Receptionist (Braintree Vets for Pets)
If you enjoy providing great service and working in a team, Braintree Vets for Pets have an exciting opportunity for you!
What your typical day will look like
- Your focus is to provide exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets, acting as a key link between clients and the clinical team.
- Building strong relationships with clients, their pets, and the practice team is critical to your success.
- Ensuring absolute client satisfaction—every visit should leave clients with confidence in our service and anticipation for future visits.
- Greeting each client with support, guidance, and expertise while managing payments and future bookings confidently.
- Coordinating the smooth running of day-to-day routines using our online booking system—Computer literacy is essential.

This role is a full-time position (40 hours per week), with weekend shifts on a rota basis.
Personality & Attributes
- The friendly, welcoming face of the practice for both clients and pets.
- Able to provide tailored guidance by staying fully informed about practice services and additional offerings.
- Calm, attentive, and client-focused, even in challenging situations.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about service and animal care.
- Resilient and adaptable—able to comfort clients in tough situations or share in the joy of small moments (like a puppy’s first visit).
- Has an infectious personality, contributing to a warm, friendly practice culture.
Preferred: Previous experience in receptionist roles or veterinary settings.
