Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, we offer advanced referral services across orthopaedics, neurology, soft tissue surgery, oncology, internal medicine, and diagnostic imaging.
Location
Based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, our purpose-built referral hospital combines cutting-edge technology with a collaborative multidisciplinary team, giving clinicians the opportunity to manage rewarding cases while working alongside experienced specialists and advanced practitioners.

How You'll Make a Difference
As a Referral Veterinary Surgeon in Diagnostic Imaging, you will deliver advanced imaging services within a busy multidisciplinary referral hospital, supporting the diagnosis and management of complex referral cases across multiple disciplines.
- Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services for complex referral cases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support case management and clinical decision-making
- Communicate effectively with referring veterinary surgeons and clients, providing clear diagnostic advice and recommendations
- Contribute to clinical governance, teaching, mentoring, and the continued development of the diagnostic imaging service
Working Pattern
- Part-time position – 10 hours per week (1 day per week)
- 10-hour working day
- Participation in a 1 in 4 weekend on-call rota
- One weekday evening on-call commitment per week
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
You are an experienced veterinary surgeon with strong clinical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality referral-level diagnostic imaging. You'll bring:
- ECVDI Boarded Specialist, Board Eligible, or Advanced Practitioner status
- Proven experience managing complex diagnostic imaging cases within a referral environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with referring vets, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising colleagues
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and continuous improvement
