Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon – Mobile Practice

Location: Based between Leeds & Harrogate (covering Leeds, Harrogate & surrounding areas)

Hours: Completely flexible! 1–2 days per week ideal, but we’re open to any pattern or hours that suit your life.

Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 FTE pro-rata (DOE)

About Us

We are an independent, friendly, and growing small animal mobile practice bringing low-stress, compassionate care straight to pets in their homes. We like doing things a bit differently—no rushed appointments, no chaotic waiting rooms, and no high-volume pressure.

Just a really fulfilling, unhurried approach to practice life, doing great clinical work for loyal, dedicated clients who truly appreciate what we do.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • More Than Just Consults: While this is a mobile role, you aren’t limited in what you can do. We have in-house blood machines and an ultrasound available. If you have ultrasound experience, brilliant! If not, absolutely no worries at all—it’s not a requirement.
  • Support on the Road: You’ll be joined by an experienced Veterinary Care Assistant or Nurse who drives the practice vehicle, helps with restraint, and keeps everything stocked.
  • Zero Admin Headaches: A dedicated Practice Coordinator manages incoming calls, bookings, and route mapping so you can focus entirely on your patients.
  • Unhurried Appointments: Enjoy 20–60 minute visits. You’ll actually have the time to work up cases properly, examine patients thoroughly, and build lasting relationships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
