Are you a veterinary surgeon with a passion for internal medicine, complex diagnostics, and a blend of first-opinion and referral-level work?
This role offers an exciting and unique chance to join a progressive, independent team dedicated to excellence in veterinary care. Based in the West Midlands, just a stone's throw from Birmingham City Centre and Birmingham Airport, in a great location to live and work, excellent transport links, with green spaces but also the hustle and bustle of a bigger town, you will have the best of both worlds.
The position involves a blended caseload of primary care and referral medicine, providing the perfect environment for those who thrive on diverse and challenging cases. This role is particularly suited for vets who are working towards or already hold a Certificate in Small Animal Medicine (CertSAM) or a related field. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including endoscopy, ultrasound, and bronchoscopy, allowing you to fully utilise and expand your skills.

Key duties and responsibilities:
- Manage a mixed caseload of primary care and referral medicine
- Lead and develop referral cases in internal medicine
- Perform advanced diagnostics such as endoscopy, ultrasound, and bronchoscopy
- Collaborate with a supportive and forward-thinking team
Skills and experience:
- Passion for thorough case work-ups and evidence-based medicine
- Certificate holder or currently studying for a certificate in internal medicine or a related field
- Confidence in or eagerness to develop skills in endoscopy and imaging
- Commitment to working in a collegiate and respectful team environment
