We are located in Havant, in beautiful Southern England, with easy access to the beach, the countryside and a busy city centre, and direct transport into London and other cities.

About us:

The practice, owned by two veterinary surgeons, has a team of two vets and additional clinical and non-clinical support of 8 people. The practice is supported by four sister surgeries and with a 21 vet team. This team, includes vets with experience and interest in medicine, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, exotics, cardiology, imaging and we work closely together. The practice has a large theatre, separate prep area and modern equipment, which is continually upgraded to meet team and patient need.

Our offer to you:

  • Salary £45,000 - £65,000 (FTE) DOE.
  • £3,000 signing on bonus (direct candidates only, non agency).
  • Part-time position (3x weekdays, 2x weekday off, and 1 in 3 Saturdays), or for the right candidate we can consider full time (4x weekdays, 1x weekday off, and 1 in 3 Saturdays).
  • Combination of 15 minute and 30 minute appointments (all ill patient initial appointments are 30 minutes, allowing you to conduct a consult without rushing).
  • Addressed preference over surgical/consulting ratio
  • Pension Scheme
  • No OOH
  • Holiday increasing with service + birthday leave
  • RCVS, VDS, BVA membership fees paid
  • CPD budget of £1,750 + 5 days CPD leave (FTE).
  • Certificates encouraged and supported, separate from CPD budget.
  • Income Protection Insurance.
  • Life Assurance of 4 times annual salary for next of kin.
  • Private Medical Insurance if required.
  • Generous staff (and immediate family) discounted pet care.
