Whether you're looking to broaden your clinical skills, pursue a certificate, or simply enjoy working alongside a supportive and experienced team, you'll find the opportunities and encouragement to thrive here.

About Us

As part of CVS, you'll be backed by one of the UK's leading veterinary groups, with access to outstanding clinical support, funded development opportunities and a culture that puts people first.

Why Seadown?

Seadown is a well-established Small Animal Hospital with an experienced and collaborative team of veterinary surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, patient care assistants and receptionists who genuinely enjoy working together.

Our hospital is equipped with everything you'd expect from a modern, progressive first opinion facility, including:

  • Digital radiography
  • Ultrasound
  • Endoscopy
  • Advanced dental facilities
  • Laparoscopic surgery equipment
  • Dedicated ICU facilities
  • An in-house laboratory supported by dedicated laboratory technicians

Alongside our busy first opinion caseload, we're proud to offer an ophthalmology referral service supporting practices across the South of England, and benefit from a weekly visiting Advanced Practitioner in Orthopaedics. This creates excellent opportunities to work alongside experienced clinicians, develop your skills and manage a varied and rewarding caseload.

We're passionate about continuous improvement and actively encourage clinical discussions, knowledge sharing and new ideas. Your opinions will be valued, and you'll have the freedom to help shape our clinical approach and contribute to the future direction of the practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
