About Us
We are a 24-hour RCVS-accredited small animal hospital, located just 30 minutes by train from London, with direct transport links to Southend and Stansted airports. We’re also just a 25-minute drive from the seaside.
Our large team consists of 14 vets, including surgical, exotic and medical certificate holders. Some are currently pursuing certificates in surgery, orthopaedics, cardiology and medicine. Our highly skilled nursing team includes many Schedule 3 and imaging-trained professionals, as well as several with post-graduate certificates. In addition, we have 3 Hydrotherapists, 2 Physiotherapists, and 10 Client Care Advisers.
Our state-of-the-art, purpose-built facilities include a CT scanner, and we’ve recently expanded our services to offer MRI, Hydrotherapy, Physiotherapy, and rehabilitation. We provide gold-standard inpatient care, along with first opinion small animal services and outpatient services such as emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, CT/MRI imaging, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and laser therapy.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced exotic bias veterinary surgeon who thrives in a vibrant, forward-thinking environment and is committed to clinical excellence. Candidates should ideally have experience working within a UK veterinary practice and have a good understanding of UK veterinary regulations and client care expectations.

We will offer you a great work-life balance with a 4-day week and 1 in 4 weekends. You will work a 40-hour rota with no out-of-hours duties, plus a minimal on-call rota (about 3-4 times a year).
We are flexible and happy to consider part-time applicants however you must be able to work 1 in 4 weekends.
