About Us

Quarry House Vets is a local independent small animal veterinary practice. Our main practice is in Torquay with our smaller clinics in Newton Abbot and Teignmouth. We are RCVS accredited and an approved veterinary nurse training centre. We are a RWAF Silver Rabbit Friendly Clinic and an accredited ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic.

We undertake a wide range of surgical procedures including BOAS, dentals and have the latest in-house laboratory equipment. You can find out more about our services on our website: quarryhousevets.co.uk

The Role

This is a challenging, yet very rewarding role where you will carry out consultations, work up cases, perform general surgery, and handle basic imaging. You will also visit our animal charity partner to undertake veterinary duties there.

You will be working closely alongside a talented and dedicated group of professionals who value colleague collaboration, team and individual learning development, and exceptional patient care. This is the perfect opportunity to join an experienced, fun, friendly, and supportive team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
