Veterinary Surgeon – Crayford

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled vet surgeon to join our friendly, supportive, and RCVS Practice Standards Accredited team.

About the Role

You will work at a thriving local veterinary clinic, where Robert (Veterinary Partner) has full clinical freedom. As part of the Vet Group family, you’ll enjoy supportive colleagues, competitive benefits, and a passionate team dedicated to small animal and exotic cases.

The practice offers:

  • Routine and complex medical and surgical cases (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs)
  • 15-minute standard consults
  • Advanced equipment including digital X-rays, dental X-rays, endoscope, Idexx Lab, and dental machine

Team & Culture

Joining a dynamic team of:

  • 5 vets
  • 3 nurses
  • 2 locum nurses
  • 2 veterinary care assistants
  • 1 practice manager
  • 7 receptionists

Key Responsibilities

  • Confident handling of routine surgical and medical cases
  • Building strong client and team relationships
  • Preference for a senior vet with strong surgical experience

Hours & Commitment

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week (including 1 in 3 Saturdays)
  • Open 6 days a week (closed Sundays)
  • Standard closure dates (Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Easter Monday)
  • Occasional sole charge responsibility but no out-of-hours (OOH) duties
