Looking for a full-time role with autonomy, variety and the opportunity to help shape a practice?

Join Medivet St Albans as a Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon, working 40 hours per week with 1 in 6 weekends and a fair share of bank holidays across the team/on-call rota.

The practice is now excitingly welcoming a new Partner, creating a fantastic opportunity to help evolve the practice and take it to the next level with the support of a Partner and the wider Medivet network.

Based in the heart of St Albans, the practice has a loyal client base and established caseload. This role will involve sole charge, so you'll need to be a confident all-round vet, comfortable with routine surgeries and basic medical procedures.

What Makes This Role Stand Out?

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
